New Blogger Features - Share Icons - Video Player - Post Previews

Now a days blogging is no more unknown to anyone. Keeping this in mind blogger has recently introduced the new option of sharing the post on other platforms. These blogger sharing buttons include Google buzz, Twitter and Facebook and the most important an email button also. Now you'll not hvae to go and edit the complex code of your templates to add these sharing buttons to your blog posts.
 

Adding The New Sharing Buttons

 

These new sharing buttons can now be installed by going to the Design > Page Elements page of your blogger account. Click "edit" under Blog Posts widgets

check "show share buttons" to enable the buttons.

Buttons will be appeared under each post your blog readers will find it easy to share your post via email, Blogger, and popular social networks—Blogger currently supports Google Buzz, Twitter, and Facebook, and planning to add more services in the future.

I recommend you to add these social sharing buttons by your self, because this option would be lot more better if more sharing options were offered.However for new bloggers, who are reluctant to edit HTML codes of their blogger templates this option is quite helpful and easy.

Adding Videos To Posts

Now with new toolbar of Blogger you can attach videos in your posts by just one click. Before this the new toolbar of Blogger didn't allow its users to insert videos in their post, to insert videos they had to shift to the old blogger toolbar. Now this new toolbar has been updated to upload your video onto your blog 

By clicking on the video icon show in the above image a new window will be opened asking to browse your computer to upload your favorite video onto your blog. 

New Actual Like Post Preview

The Blogger has also updated the post preview option. This new option of Post preview allows you to preview your post in actual format. The older post preview was unable to give you a complete and actual preview of your post this option lies under the New Post Composer.

Today I found some interesting tools to chat with your face book friends without going to facebook.com. You'll not have to open to your facebook account.

ChitChat is another web based IM. It's tabbed window to make it easy for you to talk. it's will show notifications in the tray. It's look like same yahoo, Msn or Gtalk.

Install Facebook Share, Yahoo! Buzz, Dig, Retweet Sharing Buttons in Blog Posts

Social Bookmarking is one of the best way to share your articles with the rest of the world. By adding several social bookmarking options to your blog you can increase the traffic to your blog.

The best place to add bookmarking buttons is below the post where readers can submit the article easily if they like. But putting those buttons on a prominent place like at the top of the post is also beneficial sometimes for webmasters because readers can access those sharing buttons easily helping you to increase traffic to your page.

Here I'm sharing the way how you can add the social bookmarking buttons to your blog posts.

Adding Dig, Retweet, Facebook & Yahoo Buzz Buttons

1:  Log-in to Blogger Account

2:  Go to Layout > Edit HTML 

3:  Check the checkbox "Expand Widget Templates"

4:  Find (CTRL+F) <p><data:post.body/></p>

5:  To Add Social bookmarking buttons above post copy the following code and paste before the searched one. If you want to add them below post just paste the following code below the searched code

To move the place of the buttons, change the "right" (red), to "left" or "center" to place buttons accordingly.

Add "Facebook Like" button to your Blog Posts

Facebook has become one of the most famous and leading social networking site on the web and is one of the top visited sites in world . Thus it can be a greater source to generate traffic to your website/blog. So it become a necessity to involve facebook in your content and provide your visitors ways to share your content on their facebook profile. 

By adding the facebook like button you provide your visitors with an option to share your post with their facebook contacts with only a single click. This option can increase your bolg traffic and will definitely result in increasing revenue. This can be done in no time without any new window or pop-up window.

Adding "Facebook LIKE" button:

1:  Log-in to you blogger account. Go to Layout > Edit HTML

2:  Check the checkbox "Expand Widget Templates" 

3:  Press "CTRL+F" and search <p><data:post.body/></p>

4:  Just before the searched tag in step 3 copy and paste the following code

Customize It:
If you want to replace the text the appear on the button then just change the action=like with action="Recommend"

Facebook Violating Security of Personal Information

Security of your personal information is the most concerned and most sensitive issue while using the social networking websites. Most of us like to hide our personal Information.

But FACEBOOK is at it again...violating your personal information: As of today, there is a new privacy setting called "Instant Personalization" that shares data with non-facebook websites and it is automatically set to "Allow." Even if you don't want to share your personal information you are sharing it. To disable and secure your personal Information Go to

Account > Privacy Settings > Applications and Websites > Instant Personalization

and uncheck "Allow", not to share your personal Information with Non Facebook websites.

Export All Facebook Friend's E-Mail Id
