Turn Windows 7 Desktop into a Picture Slideshow

Hi Readers:
Do you want to customize your desktop? Do you want your desktop wallpapers to be changed automatically just like a slide show? Today on Free Software Advisor platfor you'll look at the desktop slideshow feature of Windows 7, that automatically changes the wallpapers of your Desktop. 

How To Start Windows 7 Desktop Slideshow

Make a Right-Click on your Desktop

A new window will be opened, Now Click on the Desktop Back Ground; located at the bottom of the window.

Click the Browse button to mover to your destination folder of your favorite wallpapers and click OK

All the images in the destination folder will be shown there. You can select all of them or some of them. At bottom of the window you can change the time interval of the two consecutive images of the slide show. Then click Save changes to start the slide show of your favorite wallpapers, personal images on your desktop. You can choose the time interval for the images from 1 Day to 30 Seconds.

After you have gone through the all above steps, you'll notice Slideshow below Desktop Background instead of Harmony.

This shows that the slideshow of your favorite images/wallpapers is implemented on your desktop.

Access Hidden Themes in Windows 7

Windows 7 provides its users with only one location specific theme, based on the selection of language and location during the installation of windows 7. Today Free Software Advisor will tell you a simple and very small technique to access the other hidden location themes of Windows 7.
Approximately all of us specify the English Language, and US as the location during the installation of Windows 7. By this specification windows automatically determines US as your current location and shows the theme of US only.

But here Software Advisor will let you know about "How to access all location specific hidden themes in Windows 7". 

1. Simply open the Explorer (Windows + E) and goto C:\Windows\winsxs

2. Enter *.theme into the search field. If you have problems to type *, use the * sign on the number block.

3. Now it should look like this: Click me!

4. Double-click the themes ZA, US, GB, CA, AU to install them.

5. you have unlocked 5 cool themes.


OR Another Way
To access the other available location specific International themes you need to copy the following code and paste it into Search Box in Windows Start Menu and strike the Enter button.
Or just Select the following code right click and click Goto 

C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT

There in the MCT folder you'll see the all other hidden themes of other regions like Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, United States and South Africa. To Install the any of these available themes open the desired folder and then theme folder.


for example 
C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT\MCT-GB\Theme

or if you only want the wallpapers then
 C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT\MCT-GB\Wallpaper
